"From Home To Home" by Seda Muradyan: Documentary Screening

Dear friends,

In the framework of retrospective screenings of films produced by “Hayk” Documentary Film Studio my first documentary “From Home To Home” will be shown (language: Armenian).

In 1989, the conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh had been escalating for a year. The Soviet regime proved unable to curb the violence. Armenians living in Azerbaijan and Azerbaijanis living in Armenia were forced to leave. “From Home to Home” tells the story of Azerbaijanis and Armenians who swapped villages and countries, and made a unique deal. They decided to exchange their villages and countries promising each other to look after the village graves. Since then, they have been keeping their promise.

Հրավիրում եմ Ձեզ մայիսի 29-ին, ժամը` 18:00-ին «Մոսկվա» կինոթատրոն, որտեղ «Հայկ» կինոստուդիայի ֆիլմերի ցուցադրության շրջանակներում կկայանա իմ հեղինակած առաջին` «Տնից տուն» վավերագրական ֆիլմի ցուցադրությունը:

“Տնից` տուն” ֆիլմը պատմում է 1989-ին, Ղարաբաղյան պատերազմից առաջ ստեղծված լարված իրավիճակում, Ադրբեջանից Հայաստան տեղափոխված հայերի, եւ Հայաստանից Ադրբեջան տեղափոխված ադրբեջանցիների մասին, որոնք փոխանակել են իրենց գյուղերն ու խոստացել`չքանդել գյուղերում թողած գերեզմանները. միմյանց տված խոստումը պահպանվում է մինչ օրս:
